Brave Girls Virtual Storytime: Dancing Hands

Calling all young readers and their grownups! Join author Margarita Engle as she reads her 2021 picture book Dancing Hands: How Teresa Carreño Played the Piano for President Lincoln in English and Spanish. Our young readers and their grownups will then talk about how music moves us and make some music of our own!

This free program is designed for 5-8 year olds and their grownups!

The National Women’s History Museum strives to provide programs that are accessible to all visitors. For questions, or to request accommodations such as an ASL interpreter or captioning, please email [email protected] at least 7 days in advance of the program.
